¡Hola capifans!
Según recordaban en nuestro Devlog anterior, quedaron muchas features de Carpunkcho64 pendientes, las que hemos avanzado desde esa fecha, y aprovechamos de incluir algunas cosas más. La descarga está al final de este documento.
Nuevo mapa de juego
Nuestros sobrevivientes ahora están provistos de una arena nocturna para hacerle frente a las oleadas de Carpinchos asesinos, que incluye distintos obstáculos que les darán cobertura... o rutas para que los carpinchos los encierren. No teman a la oscuridad, pues la arena (y los jugadores) tienen luces que los ayudaran a navegar en ella!
Sobrevivientes
Anteriormente podiamos controlar un Carpincho, lo que carecía de sentido pues ellos son los invasores 😈, asi que ahora tenemos dos sobrevivientes únicos con sus respectivas armas listos para enfrentar las hordas de Carpinchos asesinos! Como se prometió anteriormente, ahora cuentan con una barra de vida, haciendo que cada encuentro con un Carpincho sea mortal.
Aunque mortal no significa que es el fin, un jugador puede revivir a otro presionado la tecla Q.
Carpinchos
Que sería de Carpunkcho64: Invasion sin hordas de carpinchos? Ahora pasaron de ser la entidad controlable de prueba a una máquina asesina, no dejes que se acerquen!
Menús e interfaces
Ahora tenemos un menú principal junto a un lobby estilizado para que nuestros jugadores puedan sentirse inmersos en la invasión, junto con pantallas de victoria o derrota, descúbrelas tú mismo en el juego!
Issues conocidas
Seran parchadas en la siguiente versión.
- Spawn/posiciones de los carpinchos no es sincronizada correctamente en todos los casos.
- Los jugadores pueden seguir disparando despues de morir.
- Botón RETRY al final de un juego no tiene efecto.

Hello capy-fans!
As you might remember from our previous Devlog, there were many features of Carpunkcho64 left unfinished, which we’ve made progress on since then. We’ve also taken the opportunity to add a few more things. You can find the download link at the end of this document.
New Game Map
Our survivors are now equipped with a nighttime arena to face waves of Killer Capybaras, featuring various obstacles to give them cover... or routes for the capybaras to corner them. Don’t fear the darkness, as both the arena (and the players) have lights to help navigate!
Survivors
Previously, we could control a Capybara, which didn’t make much sense since they are the invaders 😈. Now, we have two unique survivors, each with their own weapons, ready to face the hordes of Killer Capybaras! As promised earlier, they now have a health bar, making each encounter with a Capybara potentially lethal.
But lethal doesn’t mean the end—a player can revive another by pressing the Q key.
Capybaras
What would Carpunkcho64: Invasion be without hordes of capybaras? They’ve evolved from being the test controllable entity to killing machines—don’t let them get close!
Menus and Interfaces
We now have a main menu along with a stylized lobby so our players can feel immersed in the invasion, along with victory and defeat screens—discover them for yourself in-game!
Known Issues
These will be patched in the next version:
- Capybara spawns/positions are not correctly synced in all cases.
- Players can keep shooting after death.
- The RETRY button at the end of a game has no effect.
